Mega Millions
Dad always told me that the Lottery is for the statistically challenged. But at $370 million, I decided to go ahead and purchase a ticket. I picked my favorite numbers, and I even threw dad's birth year in for good measure. I dreamt of yachts, golf, and caviar last night. This morning I sprang out of bed to check my numbers: nothing, nada, zilch. I had read that the odds of winning were 1 in 176 million. And yet again, dad was right.
