S.E.C. Football
All SEC fans are impossible to please. Auburn is 8-1, yet their fans consider the season over since they aren't undefeated. Alabama and Georgia are both 6-3, but they might as well have sat out of the entire season, according to the "fans". Some might see this as a bad thing. I see it another way... it's great to be a part of the best conference in college football (even though my crappy team is only 6-3). Mike

Poems...
Woman's Poem
Before I lay me down to sleep,
I pray for a man, who's not a creep.
One who's handsome, smart and strong,
One who loves to listen to song.
One who thinks before he speaks,
One who'll call, not wait for weeks.
I pray he's gainfully employed,
When I spend his cash, won't be annoyed.
Pulls out my chair and opens my door,
Massages my back and begs to do more.
Send me a man who'll make love to my mind,
Knows what to answer to "how big is my behind?"
I pray that this man will love me to no end,
And always be my very best friend.
Man's Poem
I pray for a deaf-mute who owns a liquor store and a golf course. This doesn't rhyme and I don't care.

A is for Alibi... by Sue Grafton
I don't get to read as much as I would like to, but this book is good. Here are the first couple of lines from her book:
"My name is Kinsey Millhone. I'm a private investigator licensed by the state of California. I'm thirty-two years old, twice divorced, no kids. The day before yesterday I killed someone and the fact weighs heavily on my mind."
