I used to own a jeep, and on days like today (sunny, 72 degrees), I miss it more than I can say. The new 4-door jeep looks sharper than ever, kind of like a convertable mini-hummer. If I save my pennies, perhaps I can get one before next summer. We'll see! Mike

With temperatures in the high 60's on Monday, Shannon and I couldn't resist the chance to climb Kennesaw Mountain. Now, I thought this would be a nice little hike with lots of winding trails. Man, was I wrong. This joker was tough! I remember living in Colorado Springs when I was growing up. My father actually hiked up Pikes Peak (see first photo). My hike on Monday really puts Dad's hike into perspective. Mike

Dad always told me that the Lottery is for the statistically challenged. But at $370 million, I decided to go ahead and purchase a ticket. I picked my favorite numbers, and I even threw dad's birth year in for good measure. I dreamt of yachts, golf, and caviar last night. This morning I sprang out of bed to check my numbers: nothing, nada, zilch. I had read that the odds of winning were 1 in 176 million. And yet again, dad was right.

I actually had this poster when I was a kid. Did you know that Farrah is a Redskins fan? Seriously! ;)
