Lost...
Most people that know me will tell you that I have about as much sense of direction as a teenage girl in a mall on a Saturday afternoon. Therefore, it should not surprise anyone that I got lost on the way back to Opelika from Atlanta Friday morning. I decided to go by my new apartment, then to the Austell Outback, just to see how far the two actually were from one another. Well, I couldn't even find the Outback in Austell. Is there even one there? I'm skeptical... Then I missed my turn off of the East West Connector to get back to the interstate (not that I was looking forward to getting on the interstate). I finally got going in the right direction, only to get passed by a little old lady who flipped me off (apparently I was not driving fast enough). That'll teach me to only do 85 in a 70. Man, I can't wait to move to Atlanta!

Shannon
Atlanta Bound
I'm heading over to Atlanta until Friday. I hope you are all hard at work Thursday while I am sitting by the pool next to Shannon sipping on a Bud Light. We'll probably eat at Carrabba's Thursday night. That tends to be my favorite place to eat lately. Great Italian food! If you've never eaten there, check out the web site for a menu. It is a must!!!
Carlos Rogers
Carlos Rogers (formerly an Auburn Tiger) is now a part of the great organization known as the Washington Redskins! Hopefully, he can help the Redskins make a run at the Super Bowl. It's starting to get ridiculous!
Joe Gibbs
The man himself. On January 7, 2004, Redskins owner Daniel Snyder named Hall of Fame Coach Joe Gibbs as Head Coach and team president of the franchise, welcoming back one of the most respected and successful figures in Washington Redskins and Washington sports history. Gibbs brings back his relentless work ethic, demanding leadership style, and tradition of excellence and respect that defined his tenure with the team for 12 glorious years.
Gibbs, who coached the team from 1981 to 1992, turned the Redskins into an NFL dynasty during his first tenure. He led the Redskins to four Super Bowls--winning three titles--and accumulated a 124-60 record during regular-season play and an amazing 16-5 post-season record (.789 win percentage). No Redskins coach in history has enjoyed such success on the playing field.

Batman Begins
I can remember being a geeky high schooler waiting in line with Jason Esteve for over two hours to see Tim Burton's original Batman. Now I'm a geeky thirtysomething, waiting with the same anticipation to see the same comic book character brought back to life. Man, I love movies. What a great escape from reality.
Autumn Toussaint
Autumn has been a great friend of mine since the sixth grade. In fact, she was the reason I chose Samford University for my higher education. She now lives in Minnesota with her husband, Chris, and new baby boy, Kevin. You can see pictures and updates at www.caringbridge.org/mn/kevintoussaint Enjoy!
