Kitchen Tile

After months of promising, I am finally having our kitchen and downstairs bathroom retiled. At one point, I was going to do it myself Boy, am I glad we didn't go that route! After watching this process for three days, I realized that it would have taken me a month to do this project, and it wouldn't have looked nearly as good. These shots are pre-grout (except for the last one), but you can see the difference that it makes. Mueller Tile and Stone did the work, and I highly recommend them: tilemastersofgeorgia@hotmail.com

Overcoming Adversity

We are in the process of putting down new tile in our kitchen and downstairs bathroom. This has thrown us more curveballs than we were prepared for. Our fridge is in the dining room, and our toilet is in the garage. The fridge is still cold, so I assume the toilet still works (at least I hope). ME

Bama vs. Clemson

The last time I went to an Alabama game with Rob Paulding was September 2, 2000 when we flew out to LA to witness the Tide get killed by UCLA (35-24). Trust me, the game was not as close as the score leads you to believe, especially since Alabama was preseason ranked number 3 in the country.

This year, Alabama's (#24) season opener was against Clemson (#9). Unless you live under a rock, you've already heard that Alabama beat Clemson like a drum. What a great game! Along with Rob and myself were Jimmy Rhoades (a regular on this site) and Gary Linderman (an old roommate from my Birmingham days). Gary is an Auburn fan, but I'm fairly certain I heard him yell Roll Tide once or twice during the game. .. ME
