Friday Night at Outback
Shannon worked at Outback on Friday rolling silverware (I had a record 4 people call out sick tonight). She had never worked in a restaurant before, but did a fine job. My tribute follows... (Sing along to the tune of Devil Went Down To Georgia)
Mike went down to Georgia
He was looking for a soul to steal
He was in a bind
'Cause he was way behind
And was willin' to make a deal.
When he came upon this young girl
Man, she was hot!
Mike jumped on a hickory stump and said,
"Girl, show me what you got"
I bet you didn't know it
but I can roll silver, too
And if you care to take a dare
I'll make a bet with you
Now you roll pretty good silver, girl
But give Mike his due
I'll bet a fork against your soul
'Cause I think I'm better than you!
The girl said, "My name's Shannon
And it might be a sin
But I'll take your bet, you're gonna regret
'Cause I'm the best that's ever been."
Shannon, clean those forks and knives and roll them nice and tight
Cause hell's broke loose in Georgia, and Mike wants them right.
And if you win you get this Steakhouse Salad made of gold
But if you lose, Mike gets your soul!
